We are tracking bitter temperatures today as lows plummeted into the lower 20s! Wind chills even fell into the teens through the morning commute. There was a big temperatures drop in the wake of the cold front that passed over the state yesterday
Tracking a big drop in temperatures
Skies are mostly clear this morning and areas of fog developed across the viewing area. Since temperatures have dropped below freezing (upper 20s), the fog is considered freezing fog. The freezing fog has brought widespread frost to Greater Lafayette.
Falling temperatures this week
A few showers traveled over the area last night and now the rainfall is east of Greater Lafayette. Dry weather conditions are expected for the rest of the day. Skies will be mostly cloudy this morning with decreasing cloud cover by the afternoon.
